FTS Kolkata — the founding chapter
Friends of Tribals Society was founded in Kolkata on 15 January 1989. The Kolkata chapter is our national headquarters at Ekal Bhawan, and remains the heart of the movement.

Where the movement began
The Kolkata chapter coordinates FTS's national programs and anchors fundraising and volunteering across West Bengal. It runs Vanyatra visits to Ekal villages in Bengal and Jharkhand, hosts the annual raffle, and supports hundreds of Ekal Vidyalayas in the region.
